Tunnel Vision Kingswood to London Water Tower

  • Route: Starting at Kingswood Golf Course Parking lot, the trail begins at the condo's guard shack. You get on Tunnel Vision Trail and head south along the Little Sugar Creek.

  • The trail crosses Riodan Rd near Cummingham Corner. Follow the trail west after you cross the road. There is a challenging climb up to the next road crossing at Oldham Rd. You can see the water tower from there. Be careful the are two more busy roads to cross.

  • Surface: The trail is the soft-surface trail. It is a wide rack trail design. Approximately 3 feet wide.

  • Rating: The rating on this section of trail is Blue Square, more difficult rating.

  • Distance: The walk is only 2.01 miles, but the gain is 259 ft of elevation.

  • Parking: There is plentiful parking the golf course and new parking area a the London water tower

  • Notes: This is a fantastic walk. The first mile along Little Sugar Creek is where central trails get their name. The scenery is impressive, rock cliffs 50 to 80 feet high on one side, and the clear waters of the Little Sugar on the other. The landscape is almost as impressive when you make the turn to head up to the Oldham Rd crossing. Truck size boulders, cliffs, and bluffs, with a stream running down the holler (valley).

  • Carry water and a phone when walking the trails.
